About ILOIL

The Illinois Oil and Gas Resources mapping project enables on-line access to a large database of over 200,000 Illinois oil and gas well records. 

In addition to oil and gas records from the ISGS wells database, users can view other data layers like producing horizons, samples, core analysis data, structure contours, waterflood areas, and oil fields. Through these layers the application also provides access to other resources including well summary sheets, logs, scout check tickets, core analysis reports, and oil field statistics.

About The IPRB

The Illinois Petroleum Resources Board (IPRB) provides public awareness and education programs regarding the upstream Illinois oil and gas industry. IPRB programs are funded entirely by voluntary contributions from Illinois oil and natural gas producers and royalty owners.
